Chamber 5K on the Runway
The Chamber 5K on the Runway is a 5K road race held on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at Vero Beach Regional Airport in Vero Beach, FL. The course runs on the airport taxiway and runway and is professionally chip-timed. The course is described as flat and fully paved. The event is open to runners, walkers and families, and it is stroller and wheelchair friendly. Shirts are guaranteed for the first 300 registered participants. All proceeds benefit the Indian River County Chamber of Commerce and the Indian River County Leadership Foundation.
Logistics and awards
Early packet pickup is scheduled for Wednesday, February 25 at the Indian River County Chamber of Commerce, 1216 21st, Vero Beach, FL 32960. Registration is listed to open on November 1, 2025. Entry fees are shown as $35 for early registration and $40 for race day registration. Awards will be given for top three overall male and female, fastest team, largest team, team spirit, fastest person under 13, and fastest person over 55.
