About the race
The Champions Run for Special Children is a superhero-themed, certified 5K run/walk that also features a 1-mile fun run, held in Anderson, South Carolina. The event supports children living with different-abilities and special needs through The Champions Center for Special Children. Participants can expect a festive, family-friendly atmosphere with both individual and group awards, including prizes for large groups such as families, schools, churches, and businesses, plus special team-costume and spirit honors.
