CHAMPIONS RUN (Irving, TX)
The CHAMPIONS RUN takes place on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at Sam Houston Trail Park, 101 I-635, Irving, TX 75038. The event offers the following race distances:
- Half-Marathon
- 10K
- 5K
Entry fees listed for the event are $90 for the Half-Marathon, $55 for the 10K, and $45 for the 5K. Registration prices increase after October 31, 2025 at 11:59pm CDT. The event uses a points system from the Run Different series that can provide discounts on entry.
Registration, awards and event notes
Registration includes an event-themed participation t-shirt (t-shirt cutoff is 12/14) and a finisher medal. Age group awards are given three deep in male and female divisions from 0-4 through 80+. Overall and masters divisions have additional special awards. Awards are distributed at the event and will not be shipped.
The event organizer lists race-day elements such as check-in, national anthem and announcements, individual race starts, an awards ceremony, and course closing. Course maps for the Half, 10K and 5K are marked as coming soon. Volunteers are eligible to receive a code for a free race entry as a thank-you.
