Event
The Charleston RiverDogs host the Run Charlie Run 5K, a race held in May that includes both an in-person 5K and a virtual 5K. The event is organized in connection with the RiverDogs baseball team and has a race finish at the team's home plate.

The event package includes a sublimated technical Perros Santos jersey and a custom Los Perros Santos finisher's medal. Finishers are congratulated at home plate by RiverDogs players. Participants receive a RiverDogs game e-ticket for the post-race game on 5/18, and there is a post-race beer and a special food item listed as TBD. The race uses chip timing and awards age group prizes. The RiverDogs will appear as Los Perros Santos for select games to celebrate Charleston's LatinX population and Spanish-speaking players as part of Minor League Baseball's Copa de la Diversión.
