Charlevoix Hot Cocoa Run - December 6, 2025
The Charlevoix Hot Cocoa Run takes place in Charlevoix, Michigan at 100 Park Ave. The event includes two running events with set entry fees:
- 5 km : Price: $15
- 1 mile (Fun Run) : Price: $10
No official chip timing is used for the 5 km; a clock is available at the finish.
Course details and event features
The 5 km course starts on Park next to First Congregational Church, heads toward the hospital and Lake Shore Drive, turns right on Lake Shore Drive and turns around at 1.5 miles before returning to the finish. The 1 mile fun run starts on Park Ave by the purple door of First Congregational Church, proceeds about half a mile to the second stop sign, and returns to the start. Participants in the 1 mile fun run receive individual mugs at the finish.
The event also supports local causes. Fundraising is intended for the Charlevoix Rayder Den and Charlevoix Elementary School holiday food bags. Downtown Charlevoix features a hot chocolate contest associated with the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
