Chase the Cougar

The Chase the Cougar 5K is an inaugural running event held at the Somerset Historical Center in Somerset, Pennsylvania. This race features a 5-kilometer cross country course designed by Dave Mapes, offering participants a scenic and challenging route. The event supports the North Star Cross Country team, with all preregistered runners receiving a complimentary t-shirt, while supplies last for race-day sign-ups.

Awards are presented to the top male and female finishers, as well as winners in various age groups ranging from under 12 to 70 and above.
