Chico Air Museum Run the Runway 5K

Chico Running Club hosts a Free New Year’s Day 5k at Bidwell Park in Chico, California. The race takes place at Sycamore Field near Caper Acres, following the official City of Chico Bidwell Park Course. It’s a 5k run open to all, with no bib assignments and a timing clock for those who want a challenge.

The event emphasizes community and tradition, marking CRC’s 50th year. Afterward, participants can enjoy complimentary refreshments—coffee, hot chocolate, donuts—and CRC gear is available for purchase. Prizes are awarded to top finishers, and donations to CRC are gladly accepted.
