The Chief Ladiga 100 is a southern springtime classic ultramarathon held annually in Jacksonville, Alabama. Set for April 11, 2026, this event offers multiple distances including a 100-mile trail run, 50-mile, 50K, and half marathon. The 100-mile course features a fast, crew-friendly route along the country’s longest paved trail, running from Jacksonville to Nathan Dean Park in Rockmart, Georgia, and back.

Runners experience scenic wetlands, streams, forests, farmlands, and Appalachian foothills with about 3,500 feet of elevation change. Aid stations are conveniently spaced, and the event is welcoming to first-time 100-mile runners. The race concludes with food, music, and awards including a unique buckle finisher medal.
