Chief Ladiga 100
The Chief Ladiga 100 is a southern springtime ultramarathon held in Jacksonville, Alabama, featuring a 100-mile trail run on the country’s longest paved trail. The course offers scenic views of wetlands, streams, forests, farmlands, and Appalachian foothills, with a total elevation change of about 3,500 feet. Runners travel from Jacksonville to Nathan Dean Park in Rockmart, Georgia, and back, with aid stations spaced no more than 8 miles apart.
The event also includes 50-mile, 50K, and half marathon distances, all starting near Jacksonville. The race is crew-friendly, has a 32-hour cutoff for the 100-mile, and offers food, music, and awards including a unique buckle for finishers.
