The Chilly Cheeks Christmas 5k takes place on Sunday, December 14, 2025, in Buhl Park, Hermitage, PA (715 Hazen Road, 16148). The event offers an in-person 5k and a Virtual 5k. Entry fees listed are $15 for the 5k and $20 for the Virtual 5k. Registrations have scheduled price increases later in the year (price increase dates listed by the organizer). This is the second year of the event. Proceeds go to PACFI.

Course, logistics and awards
The in-person course runs through Buhl Park, which features Christmas trees and a holiday light display. Packet pick up is available the day before at The Landing (560 N. Sharpsville Ave., Sharon, PA) and also on race day at the park Casino Building. The organizer notes ample parking at the venue.
All finishers receive homemade wooden Christmas tree ornaments. Awards include Christmas-themed medals in the following age groups: 1-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+. There is a Christmas costume contest with gift baskets for winners. Post-race refreshments include Christmas cookies and hot chocolate. Optional event T-shirts are available for an additional $10.
