Christmas Classic 5k

The Christmas Classic 5k at Oak Mountain State Park is a festive running event scheduled for December 20, 2025. Participants can choose between a traditional 5k race and a special 5k for children aged 12 and under. The event features a unique Polar Plunge finish line, benefiting the Alabama Wildlife Center, where participants can take a chilly dip for a donation.

Attendees can enjoy a variety of activities, including a predator flyover, a chance to meet local wildlife, a post-race brunch, and awards for the tackiest holiday sweaters.
