Christmas Lane 5k Run/Walk

The Christmas Lane 5k Run/Walk is a festive event held annually in Thomaston, Georgia, with the 2025 race scheduled for December 13. Participants start and finish at Silvertown Baptist Church, running through the beautifully decorated Christmas Lane, Greatest Generation Park, and the historic Silvertown subdivision. Since the 1970s, local residents have transformed the area into a dazzling holiday wonderland with twinkling lights and decorations, creating a magical atmosphere.

The race offers awards for various age groups and features a long-sleeve t-shirt for participants. After the race, runners can enjoy homemade veggie soup, hot chocolate, and coffee served by the Thomaston-Upson Chamber of Commerce. Proceeds benefit the local chamber.
