The Cirque Series at Crystal Mountain, Washington, is a challenging 7.7-mile trail race featuring 2,544 feet of elevation gain. Starting at the Crystal Mountain base area, runners tackle the rugged Kelly’s Gap service road before ascending to Grubstake, the race’s highest point at 6,861 feet. The course offers stunning views of Mt.

Rainier and the Cascade Range as it follows a summit ridgeline, then descends through diverse terrain including Powder Bowl, Bear Pits, Elizabeth Lake, and Henskin Lake. The trail passes alpine creeks and old mining camps before finishing back at the resort base. The event includes Sport, Expert, and Pro divisions, with a cap of 500 runners and a festive atmosphere featuring hydration stations, awards, and post-race celebrations.
