Cirque Series at Crystal Mountain, Washington, offers a 7.7-mile mountain race with 2,544 feet of elevation gain. The course begins in the base area, climbs Kelly’s Gap service road for about 1.7 miles to Green Valley, then ascends Grubstake to the high point at 6,861 feet. Runners traverse a ridge with sweeping views of Mt.

Rainier, pass the gondola area, and tackle a steep, technical single-track into the Crystal Mountain Trail, winding past Elizabeth Lake and Henskin Lake before joining Silver Creek Trail back to the finish.
