Event
The CityHouse River Run 5K - Run For A Reason takes place on Saturday, December 6, 2025 in Boca Raton, FL at Spanish River Church (2400 Yamato Road, 33431). The event includes a timed 5K with runner/walker categories, a 5K category for participants 18 and under, and a Kids Fun Run. The run is presented by McKinnon-Wright Wealth Management. All proceeds will go to CityHouse, a program that provides housing, wrap-around services, mentoring, education, mental health support, and skill-building for homeless single mothers and their children in Palm Beach and Broward Counties.

Adults: early registration $40, December 1 price $45, day-of price $50. 18 & under: early registration $25, December 1 price $30. Timing is provided by Accuchip Race Timing with chips on race bibs; awards for the top three finishers in each age category are based on chip timing. The race starts and finishes at Spanish River Church. Packet pick-up dates and locations include Runner's Edge (Nov 29 - Dec 4), Tarpon River Brewing (Dec 2), Chick-fil-A (Dec 3), and Spanish River Church (Nov 30 and Dec 5). Participants may park in the north and west parking lots at Spanish River Church; parking volunteers will direct vehicles. Food will be served after the race, and raffle prizes and an awards ceremony will take place outdoors. Volunteers are requested for course and event support roles.
