Event overview
The Clark 6 Hour Classic takes place at Clark Reservation near Jamesville, NY on November 8, 2025. The event is USATF sanctioned and is the final race in Salt City Trail Running's series of three races. Registration for the event closes on November 6. The format is a timed event with a total duration of 6 hours.
Course, format and policies
Runners repeatedly complete an approximately 1.7-mile loop that begins and ends at the same spot by the large parking lot. The loop includes smooth gravel pathways and dirt sections with small rocks up to larger boulders. Participants must check in with the timer after each lap so laps are counted; only whole laps completed by the end of the timed period are included in the finishing mileage. The event has no rain date and is organized with the expectation that participants have some trail experience; thunderstorms may lead to safety adjustments, including a delayed start.
