The All Day Running Co. Clearwater Marathon & Running Festival is held at Sand Key Park in Clearwater Beach, Florida. The weekend includes road race distances, on-course aid and support, post-race food and refreshments, and finisher medals. Results and live tracking are published online and powered by Runbuk. Free digital race photos and finish-line videos are provided after the event.
Courses and race rules
- Marathon (USATF Certified FL21013JK, Boston Qualifier)
- Half-Marathon (single loop of the marathon course)
- 50k (Ultra) (marathon course plus a 2.5 mile out-and-back on the Pinellas Trail)
- 5k (out-and-back crossing Sand Key Bridge)
- Relay (each member runs about 6.5 miles; limited field)
All courses start and finish at Sand Key Park and pass Clearwater Beach, the Intracoastal, and Gulf views. Aid stations are located approximately every 1.5 to 2.5 miles: 15 in the marathon, 17 in the ultra, 7 in the half, and 1 in the 5k. Aid stations include water, Gatorade and port-o-johns; GU is available at the Indian Rocks Rd aid station. Gear check is available in a tent near the start/finish. Time limits are: 5k - 1 hour 20 minutes; half - 4 hours; marathon and ultra - 6 hours 15 minutes. Marathon and ultra participants must meet intermediate pace cutoffs or be directed to a shorter distance.
Logistics, awards and other details
Parking at Sand Key Park is paid; additional parking and a free shuttle operate from Pier 60 to Sheraton Sand Key. Runner drop-off and rideshare pickup are at the Sheraton Sand Key front entrance. Relay teams receive two matching bibs and a Velcro ankle timing strap that is transferred at the exchange zone. Awards: top three male and female in each age group, with five-year age divisions for each distance. A special combo medal is provided for athletes completing the Saturday 5k and a Sunday distance.
