Climb the Mesa to Conquer Cancer 10K

The Climb the Mesa to Conquer Cancer 10K is an annual fundraiser supporting the Hopi Cancer Assistance Fund, held in Bacavi, Arizona. Scheduled for August 2, 2025, the event features a challenging 10K (6.2 miles) course starting at Peace Academy in Kykotsmovi and finishing at the Bacavi Village Community Center. Runners and walkers face a scenic route with breathtaking mesa views, a 725-foot elevation gain, and a steepest incline of 13.3%, testing endurance and spirit.

Participants enjoy shuttle service between start and finish points and a post-race celebration with Hopi dance groups and local vendors.
