Cloud Cap
Cloud Cap is a mountain running event held at Cooper Spur Ski Area on Mt. Hood, Oregon, featuring marathon and half-marathon distances. The courses offer a scenic and challenging tour of Mt.
Hood’s northern slopes, traversing the historic Cloud Cap-Tilly Jane District. The marathon is a double-loop, 26.3-mile course with 4,800 feet of ascent and 4,700 feet of descent, combining singletrack trails, gravel forest roads, and rugged jeep roads. The half marathon covers 13.3 miles with 2,400 feet of ascent and descent, following the first half of the marathon route.
Both races provide stunning views of Mt. Hood’s summit, glaciers, and surrounding canyons, supported by multiple aid stations. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
