Cloud Cap
The Cloud Cap mountain runs, held at Cooper Spur Ski Area on Mt. Hood, Oregon, offer a challenging and scenic trail running experience with marathon and half-marathon distances. The marathon is a 26.3-mile double-loop course featuring 4,800 feet of ascent and 4,700 feet of descent, traversing singletrack trails, gravel forest roads, and rugged jeep roads through the historic Cloud Cap-Tilly Jane District.
The half marathon covers 13.3 miles with 2,400 feet of ascent and descent, following the first half of the marathon route. Both courses showcase stunning views of Mt. Hood’s summit, glaciers, and surrounding canyons, with multiple staffed aid stations enhancing the race atmosphere. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
