C'mon Armageddon : West Milford, NJ
C'mon Armageddon is a trail running event at Norvin Green State Park, Old Jungle Habitat, 109 Airport Rd, West Milford, NJ. The event offers these distances:
- 50K
- 10 Miler
- 5 Miler
Course and event details
The courses run on technical mountain terrain with boulder fields, river crossings and mountain peaks. Reported elevation change is over 7,000 ft on the 50K, about 2,000 ft on the 10 Miler, and about 1,000 ft on the 5 Miler. Route files are available via GAIA GPS for each distance.
The event is cupless. Water and electrolyte mix are provided at the start/finish area and at five aid stations on the 50K course; the 10 Miler has one aid station. Fuel is provided at the five aid stations on the 50K; participants are asked to bring their own hydration pack. There is a gear check at bib pickup; required gear for the 50K includes a GPX file on a device, headlamp, 1 L hydration, 400 calories, and an outer layer or windbreaker.
An adaptive athlete policy is in place. Awards are planned for top male, female and non-binary finishers; Brooks will provide shoes for the top finishers on the 50K. The event is organized as a zero carbon event and includes a small fee to offset carbon emissions for participant travel. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
