cmX 5K 2026
The cmX 5K 2026 is the second annual event organized by the CMAA Southern California Chapter Foundation. It takes place on Saturday, February 21, 2026 in Long Beach, California at 5400 E. Ocean Blvd, Long Beach, CA 90803.
The event is intended to bring the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) community together and to raise awareness of CMAA SoCal’s workforce development initiatives. Programs mentioned include shadowships for high school students, paid internships for college students, early practitioner opportunities for recent graduates, and an emerging leaders program.

Registration fees shown on the event page are $43.40 (includes $3.40 fee) for the 5K and $11.60 (includes $1.60 fee) for the Kids Run. Bib pick-up is available at Sports Basement (Friday) and at the start line (Saturday). The course has a time limit of 1 and 1/2 hours. Beach lot parking is charged at $2.00 per hour and payment is made at the lot machine. Sponsors and partners are listed for the event.
