Coastal Edge Steel Pier Classic 5K

The Coastal Edge Steel Pier Classic 5K is an annual running event held in Virginia Beach, VA, along the scenic Virginia Beach Boardwalk. The 21st edition takes place over Memorial Day Weekend, featuring a flat out-and-back course starting at 2nd Street, running north to 24th Street, and returning to the start. Participants receive t-shirts and medals upon finishing.

The event also includes the Coastal Edge Student Art Pavilion and a professional and amateur surfing contest, the Coastal Edge Steel Pier Classic by Katin WSL 1000.
