The Coeur d'Alene Triathlon, known as "The Scenic Challenge," is a celebrated race in the Pacific Northwest held annually at City Park & Beach in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. The 2025 event marks its 41st year and features multiple race options including an Olympic distance triathlon with a 1.5K swim starting from a cruise ship in the bay, a popular Sprint distance triathlon (500m swim, 13-mile bike, 5K run) with gender-specific wave starts, and a duathlon. The bike course follows the scenic shoreline and includes a challenging uphill section, while the run course travels along the North Idaho Centennial Trail by the Spokane River, finishing at the vibrant Triathlon Village near Lake Coeur d'Alene.
