The Coeur d'Alene Triathlon, known as The Scenic Challenge, is a celebrated race held annually in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, with its 41st edition scheduled for August 9, 2025. The event features an Olympic distance triathlon starting with a 1.5K swim from a cruise ship in Coeur d'Alene Bay to the city park beach. A popular Sprint Distance triathlon includes a 500-meter swim, 13-mile bike ride along Coeur d'Alene Lake Drive, and a 5K run on the North Idaho Centennial Trail.
