Event overview
The Coldwater National Honor Society Turkey Trot is an annual 5K run/walk held in Coldwater, Michigan, organized by the Coldwater High School National Honor Society as a fundraiser. Proceeds support local organizations including the Shelterhouse, veterans, and needy Coldwater youth. The event includes a race tee for participants (guaranteed only for registrations completed before November 1) and a downloadable course map in PDF format.
Logistics and awards
The event takes place at Coldwater High School, 275 N. Fremont Street, using the student parking lot (West) for event operations and packet pickup. Timing and scoring are provided by MAC's Sports Timing, with live results posted on RunSignUp during the event. Registration fees are listed in two tiers: an early rate of $20 for adults and $10 for students 18 and under, and a higher race-day fee of $25 for all ages and $15 for students. Awards include age-group medals and plaques, with overall female and male winners receiving a frozen turkey. Age groups run from 10 and under up to 70 and over. Weather or safety concerns may lead race directors to cancel the event; refunds are not guaranteed in that case. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
