Commodore 24 Hour Challenge
The Commodore 24 Hour Challenge, held at Gulf Coast State College in Panama City, Florida, is a unique endurance running event where participants run one mile every 30 minutes for 24 hours. Runners can compete solo or as part of a two-person relay team, sharing a single race bib. The one-mile course loops around the college campus, starting and finishing at the baseball field.
Participants are encouraged to bring tents and supplies for overnight comfort, with some snacks provided. The event fosters a supportive atmosphere with family tailgates and cheering spectators. Awards are given in multiple categories, and all finishers receive a commemorative shirt and medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
