About the race
Hosted in Hartford, Connecticut, the 2025 Hartford HealthCare Community 5K is a riverfront running event presented in partnership with Riverfront Recapture. The course starts and finishes at the Hartford HealthCare Community Stage at Mortensen Riverfront Plaza, winding along the Connecticut River and through Riverfront Recapture’s parks. Participants can choose from a 5K Run, 5K Walk, or a 5K Youth option.
The route features a mix of dirt, wooded, grass, and paved surfaces, offering a varied, scenic experience. Special features include a race t-shirt for the first 500 registrants and awards by age group. Parking options include free on-street parking and a pay garage nearby.
