Event details
The Community Uplift 5K Run/Walk is set for May 16, 2026 and will take place at The Omega Family Resource and Learning Center, 132 South Harrison St., East Orange, New Jersey. The event is scheduled to run rain or shine. Parking is available in a lot behind the building at 95 Evergreen Pl; additional street parking is available on Evergreen Pl. Proceeds from the event will benefit GECUF. A course map is posted on MapMyRun.
Registration and race services
Registration materials list a base fee of $30 for the 5K, with a displayed total of $33.80 that includes processing fees. Registering by April 30 guarantees a free t-shirt on race day; later registrations may not receive a shirt. Participants who register at least three weeks in advance can receive a personalized bib with their name. Bib pickup is handled by event staff, and a Self Lookup area is available for participants who do not know their bib number. The event offers live online, email, and text results, free finish-line photos, and same-day finish-line video. Awards are given to the top three men and top three women overall in the 5K.
