Event details
The Cookie Run is scheduled for November 22, 2025 in Edwardsville, IL. The event location is 3345 Stadium Dr, Edwardsville, IL 62026. Proceeds and donations are intended to buy and deliver Christmas gifts for families that cannot afford them. Entry is handled as a monetary donation of the participant's choice; a secure box will be available at the registration table for donations.

- 1 Mile Kids Cookie Monster Run
The course is divided into quarter-mile (0.25 mile) segments. At the end of each segment participants stop to eat cookies. Each finished cookie is marked on the participant bib. A cookie counts only after it is swallowed. Participants may choose the type of cookie provided at each stop.
Final placement uses a combined measure of cookies eaten and run time. Winners are determined first by the number of cookies eaten and then by run time. The final time is calculated as the run time minus one minute for each cookie successfully eaten. Awards for the 3 Mile event include first and second place male and female, plus a top cookie eater title. The 1 Mile Kids event includes first and second place and a top cookie eater title.
