Cougar Mountain Trail Run : October 25, 2025
The Cougar Mountain Trail Run is held at King County’s Cougar Mountain Regional Wildland Park with the event center at Sky Country Trailhead in Bellevue, WA. The October race is part of the Cougar Mountain Trail Run Series, organized by Seattle Running Club and Northwest Trail Runs. A portion of each entry fee supports King County Parks ($15 per entry, $10 for the 5k). The October event includes a costume contest with awards for best costume and best group costume.

The course runs on fern-lined single-track, wider groomed trails, hills, marshes, and wetland habitats. The 7.6-mile race includes the Cougar Cup team competition: teams pay a $170 entry, consist of 4-6 members with 4 scoring, and require at least two women to score; teams must sign up on race morning and complete waivers. For the 50-kilometer course, runners may leave a drop bag to be available at the aid station at Highway 900.
