Cowboy Tough Adventure Race
The Cowboy Tough Adventure Race, held at Curt Gowdy State Park near Cheyenne, Wyoming, is a challenging multi-discipline event featuring running, mountain biking, paddling, and navigation. It offers three race options: a 36-hour mini-expedition through diverse western wilderness including alpine mountains, remote rivers, and desert single-track trails; a 12-hour race with mountain biking, trekking, and two paddle sections at elevations over 6,000 feet; and a 6-hour beginner to intermediate level race covering about 20 miles with paddling, trekking, and biking. The rugged course showcases stunning landscapes with the Laramie Mountains as a backdrop.
