Event details
Coyote Hills at Coyote Hills Regional Park in Fremont, California, is scheduled for January 31, 2026. The event offers multiple race options:
- Half marathon
- 10K
- 5K A remote runner option is also listed. The half marathon includes a Hiker Division for participants who expect to take more than 3.5 hours; Hiker Division finishers are listed in separate results, are not eligible for race or age-group awards, and receive finisher medals. The half marathon has a four-hour course time limit. The event location is given as 9400 Quarry Road, Fremont.
Course and race support
Courses use a mix of paved trails, dirt trails, and wooden boardwalks through the marsh and provide bay views. Organizers note that course maps are planned and approved in advance but may be changed if park management requires it. A 2024 course update reduced elevation gain: the 5K shows about 107 ft, the 10K about 184 ft, and the half marathon about 678 ft. Aid stations are stocked with water, sports drink, gels, pretzels, and candy; the 5K has one aid station, the 10K two, and the half marathon three.
