About the race
Coyote Two Moon takes place in the Los Padres National Forest near Ojai, California. The event offers multiple distance options: 100 miles, 100K (roughly 62 miles), 55 miles, 55K (34 miles), 30K (about 18 miles), and 10K (about 6.5 miles); a brand-new 50K distance is also noted. The course features significant elevation gain, ranging from roughly 1,200 ft for the 10K to about 26,000 ft for the 100 mile, with rugged mountain terrain.
The atmosphere is lunar-themed, touted as a full-moon weekend with a tough, mountain-trail vibe. Limited to about 150 total entrants, with a 42-hour cutoff. Prepare for a brutal, scenic challenge. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
