Crazy Mountain 100
Crazy Mountain 100 is a 100-mile mountain ultramarathon in Montana's Crazy Mountain Range. The race begins at Westling Ranch in Wilsall and finishes near Lennep on Berg Road, with stages hosted on two family ranches and passing through Indigenous lands. Runners tackle about 23,000 feet of vertical gain, reaching elevations around 10,200 feet.
The course is predominantly single-track, with extreme ascents and descents, rugged exposure, scree fields, and long segments of two-track and forest service roads. It’s a Hardrock and Western States Qualifier, focused on inclusivity, capped at 200 runners, with a $410 entry and camping and awards.
