Event overview
The Crooked Creek 5K Trail Challenge takes place on Saturday, December 6 and Sunday, December 7, 2025, at Harry S. Frazier Scout Reservation, 950 Terry Drive, Shepherdsville, KY 40165. The event consists of a 5-kilometre trail run held at Camp Crooked Creek. The course runs through more than 1,000 acres of rolling hills and woods with oaks, hickories, and beeches, and it passes around the 70-acre John Barr Lake at the center of the race village. The Crooked Creek trail will be open for this event.

Entry fee is $15 per runner. A race T-shirt is available for $10 if purchased by November 21, 2025. Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, December 5, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Camp Crooked Creek Dining Hall, and on race day beginning at 7:00 AM. Awards are given to the top male and top female finishers, and all finishers receive a custom Crooked Creek 5K medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
