Croom Zoom takes place at Croom Park within the Withlacoochee State Forest near Brooksville, FL. The event includes the following distances:
- 50K
- 20 Miler
- 10 Miler

Course and event details
The main running trail is a 10-mile loop. The 50K uses that loop plus a starter loop. Trails run through oak hammocks and have a tree canopy over much of the course. Aid stations are provided approximately every 5 miles and will offer water, sports drink, gels, and some food. Because the course is a loop, 50K and 20M runners can return to the main staging area during the race and access drop bags.
Race packets can be picked up the Friday before the race from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the start/finish location near hotels at I-75 and S.R. 50, or on the morning of the race. The event limits entries to 250 runners in total and 130 runners for the 10M. T-shirts are guaranteed for pre-registered runners. All finishers receive finisher awards; there are 10-year age group awards and trophies for the overall male and female winners. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
