Cross Country Sundown Showdown

The Cross Country Sundown Showdown is a team-based 5K running event held in Carterville, Illinois, starting and finishing behind the Carterville Community Center. This inaugural race, scheduled for July 11, 2025, mimics a high school cross country meet with standard scoring and team competition. Teams consist of 3-5 runners, with the top three finishers scoring points based on their placement.
