Cupid's Chase 5K Austin
Cupid's Chase 5K Austin takes place on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Camp Mabry, 2200 West 35th Street, Austin, TX 78703. It is part of a national race series held every February to mark the founding of Community Options. The local event is the 18th annual edition. The beneficiary is Community Options, Inc., a national nonprofit (IRS 501(c)(3)) that provides housing and employment opportunities for people with disabilities. Last year more than 11,000 runners joined the series nationwide.
Race details
The event distance is 5K. The race is a certified 5K with professional timing and results posted immediately after the race. The event is described as fully accessible and pet-friendly; all pets must remain leashed. Giveaways include a finisher medal and a drawstring bag while supplies last. To guarantee a race shirt, registration must be completed by January 1, 2026; shirts are available afterward while supplies last. Trophies will be awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers. Age group medals will be awarded to top male and female finishers in these 14 age groups: 12 & under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70 & over. The event is rain or shine and all registration fees are non-refundable. Sponsorship opportunities are offered at levels from $500 to $10,000.
