Cupid's Chase 5K Seaside Heights takes place on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at the Seaside Heights Boardwalk on Hiering Avenue in Seaside Heights, NJ. The event is part of a national race series that marks Community Options' founding and is the series' 18th annual race. Last year over 11,000 runners nationwide participated and the series raised funds to provide housing and employment opportunities for people with disabilities.
This is a certified 5K with professional timing and results posted immediately after the race. The event is fully accessible and welcomes runners, walkers, participants with baby strollers or wheelchairs. It is pet-friendly; all pets must remain leashed.
Logistics, awards and beneficiary
The listed entry price for the 5K is $40; the price increases after November 30, 2025. Sponsorship opportunities are offered at levels from $500 to $10,000, including Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze and exhibitor table options. To guarantee a event shirt, registration must be completed by January 1, 2026; shirts and giveaways such as a finisher medal and drawstring bag are available while supplies last.
Trophies will be awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers. Age-group medals will be awarded to male and female winners in 14 age groups: 12 & under, 13–15, 16–19, 20–24, 25–29, 30–34, 35–39, 40–44, 45–49, 50–54, 55–59, 60–64, 65–69 and 70 & over. The event is held rain or shine and all registration fees are non-refundable. The beneficiary is Community Options, Inc., a national nonprofit that provides housing and employment opportunities for people with disabilities.
