Currahee Challenge 5k/10k

The Currahee Challenge 5K/10K takes place in Toccoa, Georgia, at the base of Currahee Mountain along Ayersville Road near the Currahee Memorial. This challenging event offers a 5K Run/Walk and a 10K Run, both on a strenuous uphill/downhill unpaved access road. The 5K turns around about halfway up the mountain at a water stop; the 10K includes a steep final ascent with a turnaround marked at a historic elevation marker near the summit.
