The Dance the Winter Blues Away event is scheduled for Saturday, January 24, 2026, in Savannah, GA (11 Gateway Blvd S Suite 54, 31419). The event program includes the following distances:
- 5k - $30; registration ends January 22, 2026
- Kids 1/2 Mile - $10; registration ends January 22, 2026
Packet pickup is at Howe 2 Run on the Friday before the race. Last-minute packet pickup is available at the race check-in table on race day. The registration table will open on race day. The kids fun run takes place before the 5k run/walk. A silent auction and basket raffle are part of race day activities and will close immediately after the race; winners will be contacted for prize pickup.
Beneficiaries and additional activities
The event supports Two Black Dogs Foundation and Life Moves Dance Company. Race day activities include a basket raffle, a silent auction, race shirts, and prizes for best dance-inspired costumes.
Two Black Dogs Foundation is a Georgia licensed rescue and 501(c)(3) organization founded in 2022. Its programs include spay/neuter assistance, TNR for community cats, a food pantry, and low-cost vaccines and microchipping; it reports finding new homes for over 100 animals.
