Dandelion Dash and Mushroom Mile - May 3, 2026
The event takes place in Hadley, Massachusetts at 193 Bay Road. It is held on the trails of The Hartsbrook School campus and is open to the public. The event includes a trail 5K run or walk and a one-mile Mushroom Mile suitable for children and adults. The event is held rain or shine; participants should plan for mud and uneven terrain.

Entry and logistics
Proceeds support The Hartsbrook School's programming, including Land Stewardship that integrates animal husbandry, climate education, sustainable agriculture, and beekeeping across grades 1-12. There is a virtual Distance Dash option that allows participants to run 5K or more from another location; standings are based on miles run over time. Registration fees in the event information range from $20 to $45, with a listed $20 rate for Mushroom Mile participants age 10 and under. Registered participants receive a T-shirt, a bib with digital timing, a participation medal, and snacks and beverages at the finish line. On-site parking is available at no extra fee.
