Daniel's Race
Daniel's Race is an annual 5K running event held in Churchville, New York, at the Churchville-Chili Middle School. Established in 2005 in memory of Daniel Myslivecek, who passed away from melanoma at age 16, the race supports families and organizations aiding children with life-threatening illnesses while raising melanoma awareness. The event welcomes participants regardless of weather and offers pre-registration with a free T-shirt for early sign-ups.
Proceeds benefit families in need, the Golisano Children's Hospital Financial Fund, and the CCHS Daniel Myslivecek Scholarship. The race fosters a community atmosphere of support and remembrance, with registration and packet pickup available locally. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
