About the race
Dash 4 Shelter is a charitable running event in Bloomington, Indiana, held at Karst Farm Park (2450 South Endwright Road). The race is run exclusively on the Karst Farm Greenway. The in-person edition is a timed 5K walk/run starting and finishing on the Karst Farm Greenway.
The course takes runners along the scenic greenway within the park, linking fitness with community service. In addition to the in-person 5K, a Dash 4 Shelter Virtual 5K is offered for remote participation. All proceeds support Wheeler Mission – Bloomington’s programs serving people experiencing homelessness in Bloomington, Monroe County, and South-Central Indiana.
