Course and logistics
The course is a single loop of about 10K; half-marathon runners complete two loops with a short extra lollipop section added to reach 13.1 miles. Trails are described as non-technical, cushy singletrack with a short section of stairs near the start and a few bridges. The route runs through a 398-acre park with sandy beaches, shoreline on Puget Sound, and forested sections with ferns and moss-covered trees.
Elevation gain is listed as about 800 ft for the 10K and 1600 ft for the half. Aid stations are noted at mile markers: 10K at 1.75 miles; half at about 2.3, 6.8, and 9.1 miles. The kids race is about 0.9 miles with roughly 275 ft of elevation gain and mixed singletrack and road. Evergreen Trail Runs does not issue refunds; options include deferral, transfer, or switching events, with fees and deadlines. Every finisher receives a handmade finisher item produced with solar power. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
