The DASHER DANCER PRANCER 5K takes place on Saturday, December 6, 2025, in Carencro, Louisiana. The event is the 5th annual run hosted by Acadiana Fitness and begins at the Carencro Community Center, 5115 N. University Avenue, Carencro, LA 70520. The run is held in conjunction with Carencro Country Christmas and finishes near the community center, where participants can join the center's Christmas activities. Costumes are welcome. Parking is available at the Carencro Community Center and next door at the Carencro Library.

The listed entry prices are $35 for the 5K run and $40 for the virtual 5K; prices increase after November 8, 2025. Online registration deadline is December 2, 2025 at 10:00 PM. To be guaranteed a shirt, registration must be completed on or before November 19, 2025. Registration reopens on race day at the site with a stated $45 fee. Virtual participants may upload photos to the Acadiana Fitness Facebook page. There will be no refunds. All profits from the run will be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The event is part of the Miles for Hope series; completing specified races makes participants eligible for an exclusive Miles for Hope medal to be awarded March 8, 2026 at the Zydeco Marathon.
