About the race
The 10th Annual Dashing through the Square 5K Run/Walk takes place in Marietta, Georgia, around Marietta Square. The event offers a 5K Run/Walk, with a virtual 5K option for remote participation. The course winds past historic homes and the quaint shops lining Marietta Square, delivering a festive, family-friendly holiday atmosphere.
It is a Peachtree Qualifying Race featuring electronic chip timing for accurate results. Participants receive a high-quality race shirt and a commemorative medal, with awards for top male and female finishers in age groups (13 & under, 14–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50+). Proceeds support youth enrichment and community initiatives in Cobb County; sponsored by The PEARL Foundation, Inc.
