The 10th Annual Dashing through the Square is a 5K run/walk held in historic Marietta Square, Marietta, Georgia, on December 20, 2025. The event is organized by The PEARL Foundation, Inc. in collaboration with the Rho Zeta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. It is a Peachtree Qualifying Race and uses electronic chip timing for measured results. A virtual 5K option allows participants to complete the distance from any location.
Format, awards and beneficiaries
All 5K participants receive a runner's t-shirt and a commemorative medal. Awards are given to 1st and 2nd place male and female finishers in these age groups: 13 and under, 14-29, 30-39, 40-49, and 50 and above. Proceeds support youth enrichment programs and other community initiatives benefiting Cobb County. Event registration offers timed, untimed, and virtual 5K options.
