The Big Floof Foundation’s Day of the Dog is scheduled for Sunday, November 2, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas. The event location is Woodshed Smokehouse, 3201 Riverfront Dr, Fort Worth TX 76107. The event includes in-person running and walking options plus a virtual entry.

Registration, amenities and awards

Registration fees vary by date. For the 5K: $30 by October 1, $35 by October 15, $40 by November 1, and $45 on race day. For the 1 mile: $25 by October 1, $30 by October 15, $35 by November 1, and $40 on race day. Virtual entry is $25. Race day packet pickup is available at the race site.

All participants receive finishers medals and event t-shirts; t-shirt size availability is not guaranteed for registrations after October 15. Virtual participants will receive a t-shirt by mail. Proceeds benefit the Big Floof Foundation and a local rescue partner; the Big Floof Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization local to Fort Worth. The event notes that participants may bring their own dog or borrow one from a shelter.
