The Dayton Turkey Trot is scheduled for Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 27, 2025, in Dayton, OH 45402. The event lists multiple race options:

Organizers provide online course maps for the 5K and 10K. The event is offered as a virtual race option and also allows participants to record and post times online between Thanksgiving and December 31. Posting a time is optional.
Entry, awards and swag
Early bird registration is priced at $44.99 through November 8; the price increases after that date. Organizers state that virtual racers and in-person participants receive race swag mailed to the address entered at registration. Swag items listed include a hooded performance fleece sweatshirt with full color print, a race bib, and a finishers medal. Participants may choose additional items such as a turkey, elf, or santa hat, a tutu, or a fleece-lined black hooded sweatshirt; extra items can be purchased during registration or from the event store. Swag ordered before November 18 will be mailed by November 18 to arrive before Thanksgiving; registrations on or after November 18 will have swag mailed within eight business days. Everyone in the Kids Run, 5K and 10K will receive a finisher's medal. Age groups are listed from 9 & under through 90+, and the event notes there will not be an awards ceremony.
