DC Safe Half

The DC SAFE Half is a scenic running event held in Georgetown, Washington, DC, featuring both a half marathon and a 5k race along the Chesapeake & Ohio Canal path. The course is a light gravel dirt road with minimal elevation change, offering an out-and-back route ideal for runners of various abilities. Walkers and strollers are welcome, and a virtual race option is available.

Participants receive a finisher’s medal, a technical Drifit event shirt, and chip timing. The race supports DC SAFE, a nonprofit empowering survivors of domestic violence.
