Dead Man's Run 5K
The Dead Man's Run 5K is an annual fall fundraiser held at the historic Congressional Cemetery in Washington, DC. This thematic and spooky 5K race starts inside the cemetery and continues onto the adjacent Anacostia Trail, offering a flat, fast, and USATF-certified course. Participants enjoy a ghostly evening run with spooky music and festive atmosphere.
Costumes are encouraged, with prizes for best individual and team costumes, as well as top race performances. The event supports the preservation of the National Historic Landmark cemetery. Dogs and strollers are welcome, and a children's race is also offered.
