The Deadman Peaks Trail Run is a challenging and scenic high desert race near Cuba, New Mexico, held along the Continental Divide Trail through the Rio Puerco Valley. The course features mostly single-track trails with some jeep roads, traversing diverse terrain including sand, rocks, slickrock, pinon forests, hoodoos, and volcanic plugs like Cabezon Peak. Elevations range from 6,350 to 7,400 feet, offering expansive views of mesas, badlands, and mountains.

Race distances include a 53-mile out-and-back, a 55K, a 30K, and a 10-mile course, catering to various skill levels.
