Deadman Peaks Trail Run
The Deadman Peaks Trail Run is a challenging and scenic race held near Cuba, New Mexico, on the Continental Divide Trail through the Rio Puerco Valley. The event features multiple distances, including a 53-mile, 55K, 30K, and 10-mile race, with the course passing through diverse terrain such as sand, rocks, slick rock, pinon forests, and volcanic formations like Cabezon Peak. Runners enjoy expansive views of the high desert, mesas, mountains, and badlands.
The 53-mile race is an out-and-back with a pacer allowed from the turnaround. All participants receive race swag, including a bib, T-shirt, and finisher medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
