Death by 5k Tyler

Death by 5k Tyler is a unique 24-hour running challenge held at Tyler State Park in Texas. Participants face the demanding task of completing ten 5k runs, each starting every 2.5 hours, testing endurance, mental toughness, and the ability to run through fatigue and darkness. The course runs on dirt trails near the Blackjack camping area, featuring natural obstacles like rocks and roots, with the distance closer to 3.5 miles per loop.

Runners can rest between runs by camping on-site or in their vehicles. The event offers hot meals, snacks, hydration, and commemorative swag, including special awards for finishers. Registration is limited to 150 runners. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
